McDonald’s China’s first smart industrial park—the McDonald’s China Supply Chain (Hubei) Smart Industrial Park—officially entered operation, strengthening supply-chain capacity for restaurant growth in central and western China.

At the supplier conference held alongside the opening, OAT was recognized as a smart supply-chain partner and received the Smart Logistics Innovation Award. The recognition reflects the practical impact of mathematical optimization in network planning, resource allocation, and operational decision-making.

The supply-chain network planning solution jointly developed by OAT, McDonald’s China and New Xiahui also received a global finalist honour in the 52nd Franz Edelman Award as the only Chinese project in that year’s final. Since deployment in 2022, it has helped avoid more than US$60 million in capital investment, reduce annual transport cost by nearly US$9 million, and lower carbon emissions by 10.6 percent year on year.

OAT will continue to combine modular optimization platforms with industry modeling expertise, helping enterprises turn complex constraints into executable decisions and balance efficiency, cost, service, and sustainability.

From insight to action—bringing better decisions into real operations.
